It’s an honour and a matter of pride for me being a Principal of this college. Our institution, in the near vicinity, is well known for its student friendly institute, having varied features which are rarely to be found in other colleges. It is also known for its innovative practices followed & applied like hoisting of flag on 15th Aug. every year by the hands of Ex-servicemen from near vicinity, in order to respect their services during their tenure as an army/Navy/Airforce service on the borders of our nation, Easy access for every student to the Principal for every academic query; by awards & scholarship scheme which being very popular among our students, distributed every year on 15th Aug. with grand ceremony in the college campus; extracurricular and sports motivation by awarding various prizes in the form of memento and cash during annual gathering celebration which is fixed on 3rd Jan of each year celebrating birth anniversary of Savitribai Fule; One Savitribai Fule award is also honored on the same day to one of the best girl student from the college; declared every year ‘Brand Ambassador of the college’ from among the students and given wide projection through college prospect /information brochure and poster flex publication ; Pro-ICT activities and competition among students; CCTV surveillance in every department & classrooms; eco-friendly environment in the campus and awareness activities; women empowerment activities preaching positive messages among the community & society; providing open platform for academic activities through students and alumni; participation and involvement of alumni & parents in various activities; some philanthropic activities like distributing college uniform to poor & needy students on no payment basis and various awards with cash to ease their financial burden in education; free internet access to all students in the campus; encouraging for various activities which may be useful for students in all walks of etc.
We are among very few institutions which provide multi disciplinary programs and courses in Arts, Commerce & Science streams in the area. We have Junior in Arts & Commerce; Degree course in all three streams, Post graduate in Geography & Commerce; Distance education for educationally deprived section in the form of Study Centre of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nasik and also we are proud that Ph.D Research Centre in English will be approved in near future which has been proposed by the college to the parent University.
We are also having the best Unit which had been already acclaimed by the university like NSS, NCC etc. which is working in an unique way to promote healthy social ideas to build a healthy society. We are also glad to announce that from the current session we have started on-line admission visiting through our website www.lmmcollege.ac.in
However , we are having a hundred year old building and a new one is the dire necessity and the Managing Body is working in that direction in near future. We hope a new college infrastructure will definitely enhance the quality of education in the form of library and laboratories for the stakeholders i.e. students etc. Every administrative and academic functioning is made available with the modern and user friendly software.
In future we hope our institute shall be one of the best Institutions with well equipped and strong infrastructure making available for all the stakeholders.
