Career Counseling at entry level Competitive Examination Cell is established as per Guidelines by UGC.  This cell is established as Equal Opportunity Center in College to address the diverse socio-economic challenges and geographic backgrounds of the heterogeneous population of students coming to the College. Availability of relevant and accessible information coupled with professional guidance to utilize the same can result in better career achievements outside the classrooms and help in the healthy progression of students. This counseling cell in a College is a resource center of information, guidance and counseling with free accessibility and internet based global connectivity and exchange of information on professional placements.

FUNCTIONS OF CAREER AND COUNSELLING CELL

  1. To provide information to the students regarding available opportunities for building career.
  2. To organize motivational lectures for students to make them aware about various competitive examinations, patterns and preparations.
  3. To organize seminars and guidance workshops for informing students about the emerging professional trends and events, job profiles, leadership roles, entrepreneurship, market needs and risks.
  4. To promote discipline, healthy outlook and positive attitudes towards national integration and removal of narrow provincial preferences and prejudices.
